Why Eddie McGuire wants North Melbourne pulled out of Tasmania moving forward

Eddie McGuire has called on the AFL to pull North Melbourne out of Tasmania, and instead wants big clubs sent down there to get Tasmanians excited for their AFL team.

“Pay them the money and start bulking up those games in Tasmania and send some of the big clubs down once a year,” he said on the Eddie and Jimmy podcast.

McGuire has also claimed several presidents don’t want 19 teams in the competition, and fears for the future of North Melbourne if they don’t start to improve.
